Following retirement from more conventional work, I am now enjoying a second career sculpting and cutting letters in stone. I studied under Helen Mary Skelton and other expert tutors at the Skelton Workshops near my home in Ditchling, which I still attend weekly with my talented granddaughter Ella. Although much of my work involves cutting fairly traditional letters, I like the opportunity to use unusual fonts and to make large letters into sculptures.
